WHO WE ARE
With a combined performance, teaching and coaching experience of over 60 years Music Retreats operates under the guidance of co-directors Jon Rebbeck and Andy Scott. As fellow students at the Royal Northern College of Music Jon and Andy were two original members of the prize winning Apollo Saxophone Quartet. Three decades on they continue to share a common philosophy for innovation and an artistic vision that supports the important balance between performance, education and having fun!
Whether Jon and Andy are hosting courses themselves or whether presented by internationally renowned tutors and artists the highest level of tuition, guidance and support is assured.
WHAT WE DO
At Music Retreats we offer a range of specialist music courses carefully structured for those musicians who wish to combine their artistic passion with a relaxing holiday. It's the perfect opportunity to get away from it all, to play and learn new skills in the company of other musicians under the guidance of distinguished tutors, all without life's normal pressures and distractions.
Courses are held throughout the year in the relaxing surroundings of Le Pras, a small hamlet in the Charente region of South West France and last for up to 5 days/6 nights.
Events and courses are ‘all inclusive’, that means there’s absolutely nothing to pay once you arrive! This includes all meals with wine, apéritifs with coffee, teas, soft drinks and snacks available throughout the day.
